Any references to ‘Norfolk Island Museums’ is a reference to the Norfolk Island Regional Council ABN 60 103 855 713 of New Military Barracks, Kingston, Norfolk Island 2899.

These terms and conditions are incorporated into and form part of the terms and conditions for any booking system operated by Norfolk Island Museums for the AFFHO Congress 2021.

Prices detailed on this www Internet site are provided and coordinated by  Norfolk Island Museums unless indicated otherwise. Norfolk Island Museums has taken reasonable due care and responsibility to verify and check all information in this Internet WWW site as at the time of compilation. However,  accepts absolutely no responsibility or liability of any kind whatsoever for any and all deaths, injuries, losses, damage, reduction in income or profits of any kind at any time, any legal proceedings or claims or the like occurring anywhere in any way at any time including but not limited to anything arising from any inaccuracy or misdescription contained in this or any publication or information as so supplied.

Sales of services as contained in this or any publication are made by Norfolk Island Museums, only as an agent for the person, business or company providing the services . WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

In an effort to keep our service as simple and easy as possible we do not create, use or store profiles of our customers. We only record PII and other information that we reasonably require to do business with you.
Norfolk Island Museums collect PII when you:

• Make a booking
Your full name, address, email address and phone number are taken each time you make a booking.

• Contact
Norfolk Island Museums collect PII such as your full name, address, email address and/or telephone number whenever you submit a query or suggestion, or request assistance.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Norfolk Island Museums uses your PII only for the purpose of responding to and fulfilling your requests for our products and services. Information may be used to:

• Purchase products or services – Information collected when you purchase  is used to deliver your booking confirmation electronically. We may also contact you about your stay or to make any changes or cancellations to your booking.
• Respond to your questions or suggestions
• Respond to and provide information or documents for any investigation by police or law enforcement agencies of any kind at any time
• Respond to any official or parliamentary inquiry or Commission of Inquiry or Court orders of any kind at any time
• Any other use or disclosure permitted or required by the law applicable to Norfolk Island from time to time

We will use your address, email address and/or telephone number to contact you when you submit a question or suggestion.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH

Norfolk Island Museums do not disclose any information about customer bookings to anyone except in the following circumstances:
• Congress Event Manager
• As indicated in the previous paragraph on use of your information
Norfolk Island Museum provides the guest name, telephone number, address and email address for each congress registration.
• Legal obligations
Norfolk Island Museums may be required by law to disclose information provided by you for the purposes of obtaining products or services. Norfolk Island Museums may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to Norfolk Island Museum’s interests (such as customer fraud) or whose activities could cause harm to others or as may be required by any law or order of any Court of law or by any police or law enforcement or any Australian national security agency.

HOW YOU CONTROL AND ACCESS YOUR INFORMATION

Norfolk Island Museums believe that site visitors and customers should have control over the collection and use of their PII. You have control and access to your information as follows:

If at any time you would like to alter the PII you provided to Norfolk Island Museums for your registration, please contact us. 

• General
If at any time you wish to enquire about any of your PII that is stored by Norfolk Island Museums please contact us.

Cancellation Policy

For All Bookings:  In the event that you cannot travel due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, your registration fee minus $20 costs will be fully refunded. 

COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW

All persons making bookings are required to comply at all times with all laws applicable to Norfolk Island from time to time.

Norfolk Island Museums provide no guarantees, warranties nor assurances of any kind as to the holding of any required registration, license, permit or authorisation by any accommodation supplier or by any tourism operator or by any servant or agent or contractor of any of them (e.g. sale of food, liquor license or permit, sale of tobacco, business registration) at any relevant time.

Any booking agreement and any disputes in relation to any booking as well as any contract made through Norfolk Island Museums is governed at all times by the laws of Norfolk Island and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norfolk Island – this also applies to any dispute regarding these terms and conditions
